Ingredients

Creamy Components
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Opt for European-style butter for richer flavor.
Sweet Essentials
  • 4 cups powdered sugar Add gradually to avoid a sugar cloud.
  • 1/2 cup blueberry reduction

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter. Beat them together on medium speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency, around 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, starting at low speed to avoid a sugar cloud! Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour in the blueberry reduction and mix on medium speed for about 1-2 minutes, until all the ingredients are well combined and fluffy. You want it to be spreadable but not runny.
  4. Use immediately for frosting cupcakes or cakes.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. To revive, let it sit at room temperature until softened. Avoid reheating in the microwave.
