  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature Soften cream cheese to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 7 ounces marshmallow fluff Pick a reliable brand, or try making your own if you’re feeling adventurous.
  • 4 ounces Cool Whip or homemade whipped topping If homemade, whip heavy cream with a touch of sugar until soft peaks form.
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Use dark brown sugar for deeper flavor.
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips Semi-sweet, dark chocolate, or white chocolate can be used.
Dippers
  • Animal crackers for dipping Substitutes include graham crackers or pretzel sticks.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature. Leave it out for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and marshmallow fluff. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the Cool Whip or homemade whipped topping until just incorporated.
  4. Stir in the brown sugar and mini chocolate chips. Reserve a few chips for garnish if desired.
  5. Taste the dip and adjust sweetness as needed.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with reserved chocolate chips. Serve with animal crackers for dipping.

Notes

Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. For a make-ahead option, prepare a day in advance for better flavor melding.
