Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Slice the jalapeños in half and remove the seeds for less heat.
  3. Place the jalapeño halves on a baking sheet and dry them in the oven for about 2 hours until fully dehydrated.
  4. Once cool, blend the dried jalapeños with the coarse sea salt in a food processor until well combined.
  5. If desired, mix in garlic powder and lime zest to enhance the flavor profile.
  6. Store in an airtight container and enjoy it added to your favorite dishes or give it as a gift!

Notes

Try adding dried herbs like oregano or thyme for additional flavor. For variations, mix in other dried peppers or use Himalayan pink salt for a subtle flavor change.
