Prepare the Ingredients
- In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, bitters, simple syrup, molasses, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon. Stir gently first to help the molasses dissolve properly.
Shake
- Add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
Serve
- Fill each serving glass with large ice cubes and strain the mixture over the ice.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier cocktail, add more ginger. For sweetness, adjust the simple syrup. Shake long enough to ensure proper chilling.
