Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese Choose a fresh goat cheese like Chèvre.
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese Softened to room temperature.
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Chopped Fresh Chives Can substitute with parsley for milder taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper Freshly ground is recommended.
Wrapping and Flavoring
  • 8 slices Prosciutto Use thinly sliced, high-quality prosciutto.
  • 1 tbsp Honey Preferably local or raw honey.
  • 1 handful Microgreens For garnish; can use arugula or sprouts.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, lemon zest, chives, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and uniform.
Forming Bonbons
  1. Scoop the cheese mixture into eight equal balls using a small spoon or melon baller and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
Wrapping
  1. Wrap each cheese ball with a slice of prosciutto, tucking the ends underneath to secure the bonbon.
Finishing Touches
  1. Drizzle honey over the wrapped bonbons and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  2. Sprinkle microgreens over each bonbon just before serving.

Notes

These bonbons can be made a day in advance; just add the honey drizzle and microgreens right before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
