For the Filling
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened Opt for full-fat for a creamier texture.
  • 1 ounce mascarpone cheese, softened This will add richness.
  • 1 tablespoon honey You can use wildflower honey for a deeper flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice Freshly squeezed works best here.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust according to your heat preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika Gives that distinct smoky flavor.
For the Glaze
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce This adds the final touch of spice.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse and hull the strawberries without puncturing the skin, then hollow out the center of each berry.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, honey, lime juice, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix until smooth.
  4. Transfer the filling to a piping bag and pipe the mixture into each hollowed strawberry.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together honey and sriracha sauce for the glaze.
Grilling
  1. Place filled strawberries on a grill-safe plate or foil and grill for 1 to 2 minutes until warm with grill marks.
  2. Brush each strawberry with the sweet and spicy glaze after grilling.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use high-quality ingredients and serve immediately for optimal texture. Can be made ahead by preparing the filling a day in advance.
