Preparation
- Gather all ingredients and let the cream cheese reach room temperature, about 30 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes, or until smooth and creamy.
- Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and continue beating for another 1-2 minutes until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Gently mix in the key lime juice, lime zest, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until the dip is a uniform color, about another 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to thicken and chill.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs on top or serve extra crumbs on the side.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a dairy-free version, use vegan cream cheese and a suitable condensed milk alternative.
