- In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Stir until well coated. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Slowly add the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest. Beat until creamy and well combined.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Layering
- In a trifle dish or individual glasses, layer one-third of the graham cracker mixture at the bottom, followed by half of the lime filling, and top with whipped cream. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream.
- Garnish with lime zest and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is softened. Don’t skip the chilling step; it enhances the flavors.
