Preparation
- Pour the simple syrup on a small plate. On another plate, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Dip the rim of a lowball glass in the simple syrup, then coat it with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Set aside.
- Fill the prepared glass with crushed ice until it’s nearly overflowing.
- Combine 1 ounce of vodka and 1 ounce of Kahlua over the ice. Stir gently to blend.
- Slowly pour in 2 ounces of RumChata and an ounce of heavy cream. For a marbled effect, don’t stir yet.
- Give the drink a gentle stir to mix all layers together.
- Enjoy using a straw or sip directly from the glass.
Notes
For extra festive flair, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Make sure RumChata and heavy cream are fresh; spoiled dairy can ruin the cocktail.
