For the cocktail
  • 1 cup Crushed Ice Enough to fill your glass.
  • 1 teaspoon Simple Syrup Consider making your own for a fresher taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar Organic brown sugar adds molasses flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground cinnamon works best.
  • 1 ounce Vodka A smooth vodka is recommended, such as Tito's Handmade Vodka.
  • 1 ounce Kahlua The classic coffee liqueur for signature flavor.
  • 2 ounces RumChata Key creamy liqueur for optimal flavor.
  • 1 ounce Heavy Cream Use high-quality cream for richness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour the simple syrup on a small plate. On another plate, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Dip the rim of a lowball glass in the simple syrup, then coat it with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Set aside.
  2. Fill the prepared glass with crushed ice until it’s nearly overflowing.
  3. Combine 1 ounce of vodka and 1 ounce of Kahlua over the ice. Stir gently to blend.
  4. Slowly pour in 2 ounces of RumChata and an ounce of heavy cream. For a marbled effect, don’t stir yet.
  5. Give the drink a gentle stir to mix all layers together.
  6. Enjoy using a straw or sip directly from the glass.

Notes

For extra festive flair, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Make sure RumChata and heavy cream are fresh; spoiled dairy can ruin the cocktail.
