Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into a 9x13 inch baking dish to create the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Fold this whipped mixture gently into the cream cheese mix until combined.
- Spread half of this cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust.
- Layer half of the banana slices, strawberries, and pineapple on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Add the remaining cream cheese mixture on top of the fruit layer, smoothing it out evenly.
- Top with the remaining banana, strawberry, and pineapple layers.
- Spread the whipped topping over the entire surface and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Add chopped nuts if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving to allow the flavors to meld together beautifully.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider swapping refined sugar for monk fruit or honey and using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. Bananas are a great source of potassium, supporting heart health.
