Preparation
- Pound 1 teaspoon of white peppercorns in a mortar and pestle until fine.
- Add 2.5 heads of peeled garlic and roughly pound until you have a chunky paste.
- In a bowl, combine the 200 grams of pork, and sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
- Add the pounded garlic and white pepper mixture to the pork and massage for about one minute.
Cooking
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil until shimmering.
- Add the marinated pork and fry for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add 0.5 tablespoon oyster sauce, 0.5 tablespoon soy sauce, and 0.5 teaspoon sweet soy sauce to the pan.
- Continue to fry for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked and coated in sauce.
- Garnish with 3 cilantro leaves and serve with cucumber slices.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on low heat for best results. Marinate pork in garlic and pepper mixture for an hour for richer flavor.
